Alex Kosenko is a full-time travelling artist from Brisbane, Australia and his music can be described as a unique mix of Blues, Rock and Folk, accompanied by his inventive electric sound.  Alex’s one-man band performances include a thumping kick drum and tambourine, howling harmonica solos, bluesy acoustic-electric guitar and soul driven vocals.  Alex’s dynamic live shows are high energy performances that leave audiences captivated and wanting more.

 

Over the last 3 years Alex has been full-time travelling and performing all across Australia including festivals such as Bluesfest Byron Bay, Gympie Music Muster, Queenscliff Music Festival, Blues on Broadbeach, Agnes Blues and Roots Festival, Airlie Beach Festival of Music, Tablelands Folk Festival, Buskers By The Lake and Kickass Music Festival.

 

He has also supported and performed with established artists such as James Reyne (AUS), Bob Log III (USA), Elephant Sessions (SCT), Screaming Jets (AUS), Choirboys (AUS), Frank Sultana (AUS), Russell Morris (AUS), Matt Taylor (AUS), Wilbur Wilde (AUS) and Jon Stevens (AUS). 

 

Alex has now released his highly anticipated full length album ‘Our Own Hands’ and successfully completed a 28 show tour over 2 months between Cairns and Melbourne showcasing his latest release.

 

Looking ahead, Alex is gearing up for his first international performances in 2026, extending the reach of his music beyond Australian shores.
