
Alex Kosenko is an independent artist from Brisbane, Australia and his music can be described as a unique mix of Blues, Rock and Roots, accompanied by his inventive electric sound. Alex’s one-man band performances include a thumping kick drum and tambourine, howling harmonica solos, bluesy acoustic-electric guitar and soul driven vocals. Alex’s dynamic live shows are high energy performances that leave audiences captivated and wanting more.
From humble beginnings busking on the streets and in markets across Queensland, Alex has built a following within only a few years and his name has quickly made its way to multiple festival line ups and artist supports. Over the last 3 years Alex has been full-time travelling and performing all across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
Alex has performed at many festivals across QLD and NSW such as Bluesfest Byron Bay 24', Gympie Music Muster 24'/25', Blues on Broadbeach 25', Agnes Blues and Roots Festival 25', Airlie Beach Festival of Music 22'/23', Buskers By The Lake 23' and Kickass Music Festival 23'.
He has also performed with established artists such as Screaming Jets (AUS), Choirboys (AUS), Bob Log III (USA), Elephant Sessions (SCT) Frank Sultana (AUS), Russell Morris (AUS), Matt Taylor (AUS) and Wilbur Wilde (AUS) as well as supporting Jon Stevens (AUS) at the Mackay Entertainment Centre in 2023.
Alex has now released his highly anticipated album ‘Our Own Hands’ and is now set to embark on a 25+ show tour across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Showing his dedication and passion to his craft, Alex will also be making the journey to play his first international shows in 2026 to support the album.
