
Alex Kosenko is a full-time traveling artist from Brisbane, Australia and his music can be described as a unique fusion of blues rock, roots and folk accompanied by his inventive electric sound. Alex’s performances include a thumping kick drum and tambourine, howling harmonica solos, bluesy acoustic-electric guitar and soul driven vocals.
His high energy stage presence is what has seen him travel across not just Australia but also the USA. In only the last 4 years he has performed at a staggering number of festivals in Australia including Bluesfest Byron Bay, Blues on Broadbeach, Gympie Music Muster, Queenscliff Music Festival, Agnes Blues and Roots Festival, Tablelands Folk Festival, Airlie Beach Festival of Music, Buskers By The Lake, Kickass Music Festival and more to be announced.
He has also supported a wide variety of established artists including James Reyne, Jon Stevens, Bob Log III, Elephant Sessions, Screaming Jets, Choirboys, Frank Sultana, Russell Morris, Matt Taylor and Wilbur Wilde.
After releasing his highly anticipated full length album ‘Our Own Hands’ Alex successfully completed a 28 show tour over 2 months between Cairns and Melbourne.
